How care works

Three steps, no guessing

01

Reach out

Call, email or book through one of Rose’s scheduling platforms. You will be asked what brings you in and which insurance you carry. Nothing clinical over email.

02

Your first visit

A 60-minute video evaluation. Your history, what you have already tried, what is getting in the way now, and what you want to be different. You leave with a plan you agreed to.

03

Ongoing care

Follow-ups every few weeks at first, then spaced out as things stabilize. Medication is adjusted based on how you actually feel, not on a fixed schedule.

“I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner passionate about helping people feel heard, supported and empowered. I bring compassion, patience and a collaborative spirit to every session.”

Rose is dual-certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner, which means she looks at the whole picture (sleep, thyroid, medications, life circumstances) before reaching for a prescription pad. She treats a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, schizophrenia and dementia-related behaviors.

Questions

Before you book

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes. Rose is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, so she can evaluate, diagnose and prescribe. She also uses talk therapy, CBT and motivational interviewing in session. Medication is one tool, not the whole plan.

Is everything virtual?

Yes. All visits are by secure video, and Rose sees clients anywhere in Florida. You need a private spot and a phone or computer with a camera.

What ages do you see?

Teens from 13, adults, and older adults 65+. A parent or guardian joins for part of a first visit with a minor.

What languages can I be seen in?

English, French and Haitian Creole fluently. Rose also speaks conversational Spanish.

How long are appointments?

The first evaluation runs about 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are usually 25 to 30 minutes, longer when something needs more time.

What if I’m in crisis right now?

This practice is not an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.

Take the first step.

Same-week appointments are often available. Insurance accepted, self-pay welcome, and visits happen wherever you are in Florida.
